CFO Jörg Riboni to hand over his duties as per April 2019

 

 

Lucerne, 8 May 2018Jörg Riboni, Emmi Group Chief Financial Officer, has notified the Board of Directors and the Management Board that he wishes to pursue a new career challenge over the long term. To ensure a smooth transition, he has agreed to continue his duties, as before, over the next 12 months until the end of April 2019 and gradually hand over to his successor.

 

 

Jörg Riboni (60), who has been the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Emmi since January 2013, has informed about his decision to pursue a new career challenge over the long term and asked to be discharged from his duties as per April 2019 following the handover and induction of his successor.

 

The Board of Directors and Group Management wish to thank Jörg Riboni for his service and valuable contribution to Emmi. He has played a key role in shaping and driving forward the development and internationalisation of Emmi in the past five years. He has adapted the Group’s financial management to the international expansion and built up a team of recognised specialists. His readiness to ensure a smooth handover of his duties to his successor highlights his loyalty and sense of responsibility towards the Emmi Group.

 

Jörg Riboni will continue to work at Emmi until the 2019 General Meeting. He is leaving the company at his own request and will focus on various mandates on boards of directors and specialist committees.

 

Emmi will announce his successor as soon as one has been found. Experience has shown that this can take several months.
